In Ipoh
After charlene and gang left from KL, the rest of the team headed up to Ipoh. The crags there are actually nice. Maybe because it is coupled with the nice weather and nice scenary. The Sun, the water and the mountain... FwaH...... nice place to just relax, watch people climb and flash a So so FUZZYLAMA. After all the cheap food and long walks in Ipoh, we headed home.
COUNTDOWN 2008
first we went to kenneth's place for a simple buffet dinner and gathering for the team, which ended up as a mahjong session. Net win $2.50. haHaha. hmm... den it was off to a more solemn occasion which i will not mention again. After which a MAD RUSH from eunos all the way to Raffles 1 QUAY in 20mins! Definitely worthed the rush as we headed out of the MRT underpass @ 2358hrs, climbed the road barricade and then the fireworks went off! quite a spectular display. Fireworks in the sky, cars horning in unison. The atmosphere was just nice.! I can say that this is by far the most memorable new year countdown tat i ever had. And i am glad i spent it with my charlene=) and of cos my best friend yixiang as well as close buddies Daniel and JSpan. =)
i wish for a smooth year ahead for myself as well as my family and my loved ones. So far 1st 5days of 2008 seems fine. Smooth CORS bidding and what not.. Just maintain it this way and i will be grateful. Next up, Boulderactive... Time to face my fear... hmmm....... i just need the motivation to push myself. i know with training, i can do it. but i need to start... Need to set an example for the juniors as well. Wake up time. WOooHOoooo....=)
